I'd imagine they're giving him one or two 'exposure' fights to the US before he and LSC fight. If that's the case then happy days and fair play. Terrible fight yes, but if it's part of a unification plan then I've no problems with it.

you are wasting your time on these lot pal.......only these Frampton fanboys can turn the news of his complete joke of a fight into hating on Quigg for basically not being Rigo...

these Frampton lot are straight out the Khan fanboy school...

    Its criticism, and clearly justified.

Turn your nose up at the prospect of £1.5 mil minimum, to fight a domestic rival you don't rate, and instead fight a nobody in the middle of nowhere, in front of one man and his dog for peanuts.

Knocking for the sake of knocking my ****.

Either wee Barry and Carl are so blinded by their hatred of Hearn they're willing to sniff at the cash.

Or maybe they think beating Quigg might not be as easy and straightforward as they're telling us it will ?

Let's see Quigg prove himself against Carl's leftovers first.

    No guarantee Scott beats Kiko.
Carl has much wider appeal, as proven by Haymons interest.
Gonzalez would trouble Quigg...he is at least as good as Quiggs opposition. The small mindedness on here is just weak.
Carl's universe doesn't revolve around Quigg.
    True boxing fans know this.

laughable that anyone can defend this. even using the 'exposure' in america card is a joke, who in america will be interested in this fight at all?

Note a fan of Eddie but as he said, "Frampton better hope Quigg wins this fight or thats £1.5m down the drain"

Al Haymon has just signed Artur Beterbiev and Eleider Alvarez probably knocking the chance of that fight happening any time soon which looked likely due to them both fighting on the same card this Friday.

Neither is even the TRUE British champion until they fight each other, let alone World!

:deal Al Haymon's Free Ticket enterprise. Empty arena, the fight will probably start at a time to suit UK viewers with means no one in america will care and with LSC moving up to Featherweight no one in America cares about this weight anymore. and its in Texas!?!?

" Carls leftovers " you mean his best win and career defining sequel.

    Quigg will murder Martinez.

Gonzalez is a nobody who you, me and most of the boxing universe hadn't heard of until a few days ago.

Small mindedness is the same thing as your " Carls Universe " comment, do you think Frampton is known by anybody outside of boxing fans and Belfast ?

Do you think the names Frampton and Quigg mean anything to most casuals and general public ?

Why the constant name dropping of LSC ?

Didn't Wee Barry tell us Carls the best in the division, so why not chase a fight with Rigo ?

The kiko fight will give us our first real standard measure to compare/rate Quigg. We should have a clearer idea of where Quigg stands on July 18.

Hahahaha, exactly what I thought would happen.

Clear as day that Frampton and his team are a bunch of duckers.

We will have to find a name for the sad Frampton-hating losers on this thread.
    Any suggestions boxing fans?
