Its more that mcguigan is a really **** person to have as your promoter/manager. hes only got frampton this far because of the whole irish connection and mcguigan still being able to live off the name he built in the 80's. ultimately though its a very realistic possibility that quigg could lose vs kiko martinez and he and his client will have missed out on millions that they won't be able to get vs ANYONE else. its all ego in that they dont want to be pushed around by hearn but the fact is hearn holds a lot of the cards when it comes to british boxing and you have to take a small loss in some ways to be able to get what you want. its just the way it is, it might not be the right thing but its the way it is and you have to play the hand you are dealt.

That request was granted which would have give them pull with the officials , ref etc. And Frampton being the 'real world champ' likely would have had an IBF represented ref in there.
