There are 10 Mexican super-bantams rated higher than no.11 Gonzalez.

Noticed that JCC Jnr fights at same venue that night on a different show. Very very weird to be going to the ****hole of nowhere for this one. Opponent looks pretty poor and it's an introduction to the U.S., but wrong fight and certainly wrong venue. IMagine will have another mandatory after this (Shingo Wake I see just given this position) - prob in Belfast, so a blockbuster fight in the States may be some time off. But yeah, NYC, Boston of Philly should have been the venue, he will have a handful of fans there if lucky whereas could really have got a crowd somewhere sensible.

With regualrity of what has happened with Hearns fights in Britain Beltran, Groves vs froch one and countless other can u understand why any "champ" would have reservations about fighting any of Hearns stable @ home?

Crying about judges has nothing to dow ith being a sissy but a rightful concern in todays boxing world, if u trying to ignore this then ur trying to state that every away fighter who has faught on a Hearn card in the past 3 years has had a fair crack of the whip?

Rigo would fight anyone anywhere.... why? because he generates no money himself and has no fan base,

Grado and Linares are in exactly the same position as Rigo, and being fighters from russia and colombia why would they not jump at the chance to defend their title in Britain infront of a packed crowd? yanno something they will prob nvr get the oppourtunity to do so again

Frampton does indeed want to fight the best, we r classing Scott Quigg as "the best"? please point out who he has beaten to classify him in this category?

the few that are hating Frampton r hating him due to being hoodwinked by Mr Hearn, if anything in these days of no loyality in sport i think Carl should be given huge credit for showing faith and loyality to his team and not jumping ship unlike Mr Quigg did @ the first oppournity

Lets access where both fighters r in a year and see if it was a gd decision or not because from i can see, Frampton is challenging himself, going out of his comfort zone and fighting under prob the biggest promotional shows in the world now in front of how many americans? and Scott is doing what exactly? fighting a guy twice beaten by Frampton? What his next move going to be? a tasty 3rd fight against Munroe?

Another Haymon fiasco. He is so embarrassed by his recent fights where no one is showing up at the live arena that for this promotion if you buy a ticket for the Chavez Jr. fight later that evening you get into Frampton's fight for FREE.His last 2 fights he's been giving away tickets to radio stations and local gyms estimated in the thousands of freebees and still no one is showing up.Last paid attendance at the Stub Hub is 600.

You're forgetting Khan, Khan is a massive draw in the U.S., his fans told me so, Khan is more famous there than Brook is here, his fans told me so, Khan is big money for Mayweather, his fans told me so, Khan sells out in the U.S., his fans.... You know who told me :good

Haymon giving away tickets is just sad, sad for boxing to be honest.

What sort of a point is that to make? Groves had absolutely no issue first time and even less of an issue second time , after he was jobbed once.
Frampton wasn't even jobbed once so thats just an another excuse.
Groves was desperate to go again because he had the right mentality and thought he could win.

Why does that not apply to Frampton. He had a massive fight on a PPV platform most would kill for and he turned it down.

You can make all the excuses about big bad Eddie Hearn all you want. Its simply not a legit reason to be given a pass.

He made Frampton an offer he will likely never see again. You defend him only cos he's a paddy and you're a paddy. Frampton should have taken the fight. He didn't and deserves to take the flak.
Any reasonable un-biased observer can see that.

Personally I would FAr prefer if he just went ahead and fought Quigg. I guess if he wants to try and break into U.S. TV he has to play ball. Just lets give him a chance is all I'm saying.

what is the actual point of trying the break into USA when the biggest fight he can have is in UK

LSC is moving up and Frampton wont make the same money fighting him ...Rigo will beat him badly and there is only average money involved

Again, I can only say I'm surprised myself. Barry tried to break into the states and we all know how that turned out.
Obviously Haymon has persuaded them that he can deliver the U.S. Exposure they want, at an acceptable level of risk.

Everybody is surprised they refused Quigg.

and even IF Frampton moved up (probably won't, bit small for feather) his biggest two money fights would be another two Matchroom fighters Selby and given time Warrington

also unless you are THE draw/crowd puller then the money is poor in America...

maybe it will work out well for Frampton?time will tell but personally i just think it was Barry McGuigan hating Hearn so much that he had nowhere to go and has made a poor decision.....

Unless....Team Frampton can go back to Quigg and say "ok. Now we are stars in USA, we can get you on US TV ...and make it a global fight?

But if it was me, I'd have fought Quigg for 1.5 million and worry about the USA later, if at all.

Your talking nonsense. No Venue was decided, Hearn made it clear they were easy on the venue. Even if both sides had decided on Manchester, Team Frampton could have made a deal were they get half the tickets to sell so crowd was 50/50. You compare it to Floyd v Manny, difference is Manny had a big tv backer prepared to stump up massive money, can you tell me what tv company was doing the same for Carl? Judges and ref would have been IBF appointed (belt Carl holds) so you really are talking nonsense mate
