I always liked the way he landed slick overhand rights, had he been more powerful he could have been a champ sometime in 90s. No way he will do something big nowadays.
i think he should give golota a chance at his wbf title. Will be a good match for them both and the viewer. The winner will have a good chance of going on to bigger things.

chagaev, ibragimov, brewster, thompson- any of these opponents. these fights need to start happening. i'd rather not see him fight golota, the fight doens't answer any questions. either an old guy wins or the other olds guy wins, put him against someone who has recently been part of the heavyweight picture since the klitschkos are dominating and here to stay, the most exciting fights will be amongst the contenders. i wish fights like chambers-dimitrenko happened more often. i'm sick of watching fights where the outcome is obvious before it even begins
You make a good point Squire. I am guessing he might take some european opponents next. Although Brewster fight would be good for Both of them. Would love to see that one happen.
Think it would be closer than you think. Maybe he might lose but you know your gonna get a whole hearted effort from the big man from South Africa. He has only lost four times to very good opposition. Think he is wiser and more experianced now. Brewster would deffo have his work cut out for him to beat an in shape Botha.
I am fairly new to this message board. But do you think there is enough support to get a Frans Botha train going? Hopefully on his march back to some top bouts? And hopefully some more fur coat flashy entrances?
:think I have wondered about this myself. I am a huge fan of Botha, but I don't think there are enough fans of his on ESB to start a train. Maybe if it was started right after he beat Hoffman, but I doubt it even then. Who knows though? If you start the train, I will hop on board. There are at least two Botha fans on here.:good
Yeah he was scheduled to fight Botha twice I believe. If I remember correctly, Solis backed out with "injuries" :think
