david haye finished audley harrisons career over 3 rounds during a sparring session lol.........@ cruiserweright aswell lol
At the end of the day its sport.... Its not personal.... the attitudes they displayed in that spar is exactly why one of them is a former undisputed world champion and the other is a mediocre domestic performer. I used to really get upset if I got outboxed in sparring.... its just been weak minded. Pull yourself together and take what you can from it. No pint worrying about the negatives ll the time.
Mate, are you one of those guys that beleive's nothing they read ?? I know audleys amounted to nothing as a pro, but it does'nt mean he lies about everything does it ???? You can take a pinch of everything and make your own opinion cant you ??? My opinion is he took the **** a bit.
i see where your coming from, BUT, instead of acting all cool and crip walkin around the ring, tryin to impress lennox lewis audley should have took 3 big punches from haye and opened back up on him, after all, he gatecrashed HIS session and ring, and made him look like a super chump. whilst haye strolls off with the knowledge that lewis and co had just had a wee taster of things to come. i can picture audley bubbling and sniffling when lewis consoled him "there there audley do'nt you worry bout that bad boy, its only your first spar" audley: " aww danks unca lennox..... *snifl*....."
Theres a bit more to it than the sparring session maka.Anyway his first spar should'nt consist of him being blasted about by haye, they should've been going easy.I know what your saying here, and your right, but dont you think there a bit snide ?
Harrisons fight was 3 weeks after Hayes. Harrison. like Haye, fought in December so in reality he shouldn't have taken more than a week or two off to chill out and then get back into it. He'd only done 3 rounds of sparring v a novice so Harrison should have been ready to roll. In fact, he'd probably have an advantage because he'd be warmed up and firing on all cylinders unlike the cold Haye. He only did 3 rounds v Haye so it would be embarassing to say stamina was an issue. His story amounts to the fact that a cruiserweight embarassed him. He is a huge heavyweight and Haye was a cruiserweight. Their fights were only 3 weeks apart so the shape they are in should not be so drastic that Harrison be embarassed. If it was his first spar then it is embarassing that he hadn't done any boxing specific training/sparring when he had a fight in 4/5 weeks. The story amounts to nothing but the fact that if you stand up to Harrison he goes into a shell and can't get off because of his mental state not his physical state. He is mentally weak. After he lost to Williams he should have hit the gym and been 100% ready for his next fight. Also, Harrison negotiates for himself so he can manipulate fight dates etc He was mentally weak pre Williams, post Williams and in the run up to Guinn. This affects how he fights, handles losses, comes back and even sparring. I wonder if he appears mentally weak also, especially considering Lewis went up to him and said don't worry about it.
The Rocky references are legendary! Audley is still blowing a lot of hot air, talking of stuff such as 'the master' etc, but I cant help but feel a little sorry for him if what he says is totally true. As I have said in the past im surprised at what he has said because David Haye has only ever spoken of him in glowing terms from what i've actually heard from Hayes mouth.
'David Haye's career has A FORCE written all over it' Audley Audley Audley, you are a bona-fide mentalist.
