Harrison with an easy win. Harrison atleast is technically sound, bad chin, lazy, fights scared.. yes.. but technically he knows how to fight. Fields is just big and throws girl punches. Technical wins over crap everyday.
:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl Yeah, I ****ed that one up. That's what I get for having TWO questions in my mind at the same time!atsch The question should read "How long before one of these glass-jawed jokes falls??" :nod
The smart money would say that. Harrison's got a glass jaw, and is justifiably nervous as heck about getting hit, but at least he has some skill. However, Fields could win IF he gets his bomb in on Fraudley's china chin first.
Williams is regarded as a world class puncher, so we can forgive him for that.As for shattered, it's only been once mate. How many times have you seen it shattered ? Shattered to me means knocked out.
Okay, how 'bout "cracked??" The bottom line is that the signs that Harrison had a china chin were there LONG before he actually got starched. He was tentative in the ring, like he'd been laid out cold in the gym more than once, he'd gotten rocked by nobodies, and then he hit the deck against a declined version of Danny Williams. I wasn't the least bit surprised when Sprott starched him, in fact I was one of the few who called it in advance.
Fraudley, as crappy as he was, was at least an Olympic gold medalist and could beat decent journeymen (Navarre, Calloway, Wiggins) and inflated-record "prospects" (Hersisia, Bonin) while Fields has never beaten anyone. Plus, Fraudley has never been starched in less than a minute- just less than ten minutes! Fraudley also has better punching technique (I'd never think I'd say that!) plus throws combinations and can at least hold on when he gets in trouble, which is the main reason he got so (relatively) far. I'd say that Fraudley actually has a decent defence when he remembers to use it properly, although his "rope-a-dope with the ribs exposed and away from the ropes" technique doesn't work, unsurprisingly, which is what led to the Sprott loss. Since A-Farce is so tentative he doesn't even start throwing power punches until the third round, I think he would take a while to win this one. I suspect the first four rounds would be a pattern of "Fields lumbers in, Fraudley counters and grabs" with almost nothing happening. As the crowd gets restless at the lack of action, Fraudley lands a combination and KO's Fields. Total landed power punches in the fight: 10.
The Crowd and viewing audience all die of boredom after a round so lets hope it ends inside the first. I say Fraudley.
Fraud should win this fight. I pick him because of his extensive amateur background and superior professional accomplishments. Plus, as vulnerable as Fraud is, Fields is even more vulnerable. Fraud can hit a little and I think he'd catch Fields's chin early.
