So... against a big puncher with fairly quick hands you go in blasting looking for combos in the opening round without feeling your opponent out and looking for the openings do you?

 

Considering Hayes chin everyone is a big puncher Jim Twite or Lolenga Mock to begin with.
Thats why he tries to protect his chin as well as he can and fights savety first. He aint a new Tyson. If Audley gets trouble with his nerves, he aint a top level fighter etc, and makes mistakes than Haye will take him out and maybe this happens early.

Bollocks... this proves you have seen very little of Haye.

Haye isn't a Tyson type pressure fighter, he's a boxer-puncher with decent amateur pedigree. He's a counter puncher but also aggressive. I wouldn't say Haye is as safety first as Wlad is, Atleast Haye is willing to take the risk of throwing his right hand several times a round
