Was following the Daniel Dubios: Joseph Joyce beef today and Joyce said that they had sparred a few times when both were amateurs. Joyce said that he, Dubios, Joshua, and a gun named Frazer Clarke came up together. I had not heard of Clarke so I looked up some video. He's 26, and he's not bad. Looks like he needs to train a little harder, but fluid, quick and agile for his size. I posted video at the bottom of the page of Clarke fighting a massive, muscle-bound UKRANIAN!.... Dubois and Joyce have taken such different routes that its almost hilarious the thought of them going at it. Joyce stayed am for ages lurking in the shadows behind previously more successful British big men whilst Dubois could have made some noise in the unpaid ranks I'm sure but decided to go the Fury route and learn the pro game early.
Frazer Clarke is the part of the reason why I think there are no good super heavyweights in UK amateur scene at the moment. He clearly doesn't train hard enough, you can tell that just looking at his physique, also his performances at the amateur scene are unstable. He has good technique and chin but he is too predictable and doesn't move his head and clearly lacks power.
Clarke's pretty good he knocked out Wlad Sirenko in the WSB. Seen him get dropped a couple of times himself in the WSB, though. He also holds wins over Yoka (Yoka also beat him too), Kuzmin, and Bakhodir Jalakov.
