When he's in range and has his feet set Clarke actually has decent handspeed against a stationary fighter like Wach but his workrate is way too low and he's smothering his punches by staying too close, the EBU title is probably the best he can hope for given his age

Him vs Wardley is such an interesting fight for me. Can imagine Big Fraze would struggle to come back after a loss to an ex-White Collar fighter, though that shouldn't be the case.

    Round 5 Clarke 10-9

Wach jabbing his way in, a little more effectively, Clarke lands huge right. Then a left hook to the belly. Clarke backs him to the ropes, work the body, gets a warning from the ref, not sure about what. Clarke throws a three punch combo, landed maybe one. Wach in close, clubs him with a few rights up top. They both land rights. Wach clobbers him a little late.

Wardley is smaller and has much less amatuer experience but I'm actually favoring him slightly just based on his attitude, even in fights where he had to take some solid shots he never gives in and I think he also has the edge in power and athleticism

Wach probing with the jab, Clarke lands a right to the body. They're in close, not quite holding, but laying in one another Wach backs him into the corner, doesn't let his hand go. Clarke lans a right to the head and left to the body, Wach unfazed. Clarke trying to forearm him into landing a right. Wach pressures, Wach eats a right and then some body shots. Wach nails him with a few short rights late.

Wach reminds me of krang from the cartoon teenage mutant ninja turtles. Slow and cumbersome giant with a wobbly brain in his stomach controlling him

Clarke isn’t going anywhere in this sport. Dude isn’t good.

Wa jabbing well, keeping his right up, looking to parry incoming fire. Not doing a great job of it. More holding from Clarke. Wach lands a right, follows up with a flurry. Then lands some stiff jabs. They trade rights late. Wach a little more accurate and edges it with that flurryy.

The way Clarke turned to his right after Wach landed a few shots is a terrible habit as it leaves him open to that long arching right which is really Wach's only chance to win this.

He also needs to work on his jab, he just paws with it most of the time and even when he commits he has no real snap on it.

Wach's corner imploring him to go. Terry C spot on on Twitter saying Clarke doesn't seem to punch through the target.

    Round 8 Clarke 10-9

Both men looking lethargic, Clarke is landing shots here and here, not much on them. Wach shelling up along the ropes, Clarke not capitalizing. Wach lands a decent left late. Wach rocks him with combo late. Clarke turns his back momentarily. Close.
