Cooney has exactly what Frazier doesn't need coming at him... height, reach and the half hook, half uppercut. Frazier trapped in the corner would not be a pretty sight. See Cooney - Norton fight.
Effectively two glass chins going at each other with powerful left hooks. "Follow the bouncing balls" as they cascade off the canvas.
Ramos, Bonavena, Quarry, Ellis, Foreman, Ali, even Terry Daniels, all hurt Frazier early. Cooney's left hook power is close to, if not equal to, Foreman. If Cooney hurts Frazier early, then he stops him. Foreman's big punch that really hurt Joe was that body shot.....and Cooney would land plenty of those. Cooney: 6'6", 81 inch reach, 225 lbs Frazier: 5"11", 73 inch reach, 210 lbs. Frazier can only come forward into the cannon fire. Frazier is just too small.....the Klit Brothers would beat him also.
Who the **** is Conney?:huh Oh... COONEY!! Styles are styles......... Cooney early or Frazier mid-way........:good MR.BILL:deal
