How's Frazier fare up against Lewis's second title reign Challenger's .Does he get through undefeated .This is the pre Foreman version of Joe so a handful for anyone.
    Henry Akinwande
    Andrew Golota
    Shannon Briggs
    Zelijko Mavrovic
    Holyfield x2
    Michael Grant
    Frans Botha
    David Tua
    Hasim Rahman

Tua and Rahman stylistically might be the hardest two fights, Tua especially so due to his awesome chin. I wouldn't be surprised if he clean swept the lot though.

It would all about who had the toughest chin or most power none of them had the boxing ability to out point the swarming, weaver Joe except Holyfield and Mavrovic who I don`t think was that good at boxing but gave Lewis trouble and was a better boxer than anyone else on this list except Holyfield.

I pick Evander to beat Frazier and give Tua an even chance, Rahman 60/40 for Joe.
Golota, with his head screwed on would give Joe a very interesting evening,Briggs too.The others Frazier walks through.

No Tyson and Vitali there at the end Fergy?

Lewis' second run had a reasonably similar trajectory to Frazier's overall title days time wise. He'd be wearing a little but still very capable at the end of this string. Holyfield would be tough as would Tua. A faded Tyson would still be extremely dangerous against the slow starting wearing Frazier - he still had some sting for a couple of rounds and would be relieved to be facing a smaller guy. Vitali would be pretty tough at this career stage as well.

If you are talking a peak Frazier in singular matches he'd be a chance of getting thru tho it would be tough. On a timeline substantially tougher again.

    Peak Frazier for all fights?
Or peak Frazier for the first fight and an old Frazier by the time he gets to Tyson and Vitali?

Because if we insert a 27 year old Frazier at 1996 might already struggle vs a 1999 Evander, then a 2000 Tua when he's 31...
And by the time he's 33(an age we never saw him fight at) he would be up against an old but still powerful Tyson and then Peak Vitali.

If it's peak Frazier for all fights then he has a decent chance of going through undefeated tbh.

Tua was chubby and kind of quit trying after a while vs Lewis so you have to question his desire.

Golota was really really good but peak Frazier would make him mentally fold eventually.

The last time Holyfield truly looked sharp was the first Tyson fight so peak Frazier might stop 1999 evander late or win a UD.

Rahman was good but not that good.

Tyson even in in 2002 was dangerous for a couple of rounds. Frazier just has to survive that and then he just grinds him down.

Peak Frazier might be too small for Vitali if the referee allows alot of clinching.

Was thinking of putting Tyson and Vit in John but thought with Lewis losing to Rahman I'd see if you good people thought Frazier would surpass that .But how'd you see Smoke do against a young Vit ?

We'll take it as peak Frazier from the first fight then go along with a realistic time Line Contro.

So by time we get to Rahman ,could be looking at a upset, and I'd be surprised if he beats Klitch .

    So peak being FOTC?
Ok hes 27 beats Akinwande by DQ or UD because akinwande would clinch alot vs him as well.

He stops Golota inside 10 rounds or wins by DQ. Golota wins the first 3 rounds, still ahead after 6 but gets worn down and mentally broken.

Briggs and Mavrovic are easy wins. Briggs might drop him early but still frazier wins.

By the Holyfield fights frazier will have slipped a bit and it would be a real war, goes the distance. Frazier pulls it out late possibly. Holyfield had been getting slower and more hittable after the first tyson fight and it would hurt him in the later rounds.

2000 Tua vs 30-31 year old frazier is close. Tua is bigger and stronger, frazier works harder wants it more. Frazier by close decision.

Now frazier would have real mileage on him. He might just slip up and lose vs rahman. We would be talking a 1976 post manilla version of frazier now.
Even if he won it would be even more punishment.

By 2002 when he fights tyson it would be 5-6 years after FOTC so an even older more shopworn 1977 frazier than we ever got to see. He might be just as shot as 2002 tyson, his only saving grace might be that he would probably still be better conditioned but i gotta actually pick tyso, who would look much better vs frazier than lewis.

Vitali knocks frazier out in 2003

Frazier sweeps them all, Tua has the power to deck Joe, so he's the most dangerous

Golota would be far to easy to hit and would miss Joe and get counter hooked to death.

Mavrovic was better than Golota, harder to hit.
