Frazier's got the much better conventional ATG ranking, but looking at their careers, it's not as dramatic as the fanboy's allege. Both were probably their era's 3rd best HW's. If Vitali had lost to Peter, then rematched him later and beat him, Peter would have functionally the same HW career as Joe Frazier. In both cases under this scenario, the person regarded as champ leaves, another fighter takes his belt beating top contenders along the way, beats the champ on the return, later loses to the champ, and is beaten by the other top fighter of the era (Foreman, Wlad). Frazier beat a couple more top contenders than Peter, but then, Peter nearly beat Wlad while Frazier was dominated by Foreman. So, all told, if he had beat, then lost to Vitali, his legacy really would have been almost the exact same as Frazier's, maybe better. Vitali's dominance thus harms the credit he gets for the win. I rate Frazier #18 ATG HW, Peter #31, the biggest difference being Frazier beat his era's top HW while Peter just came close (against Wlad, one of the era's 2 best HW's).

Frazier beat Ali. Peter beat... well, nobody. An old, fat, washed up James Toney is the most impressive scalp on his resume, and he needed two tries to beat him convincingly.

at the end of day, I mean, Sapanos at nine but that don't matter. Cause wether you like it or dislike it, it`s one, two, three stripes lookout at the old, old game. And that`s all anybody gonna do cause everybody know that god believe that.

This must be an attempt to make the Klits look better than deserved..
Its blasphemy to mention Peters name in the same breath as Fraziers..

Klit fans have to stretch a lot to blow up the legacy of those two limited fighters, reigning over the most limited era of all time.

Chuvalo would take out Wlad and Vitali, the 60s era premium gate keeper.

    Learn about boxing.

No their careers are not comparable. When Ali was stripped of the title Frazier became champion while when Vitali was forced to retire Peter got beaten by Wlad. Had Peter beaten Wlad and then unified the titles and then beat a returning Vitali then you could say their careers were comparable, but he did not he fell well short of that.

On top of that when Frazier faced a top fighter from a lower division in Foster he stopped him into 2. Peter struggled with Toney and lost to Chamber another small heavyweight. Peter's career falls well short of Frazier's which is why Frazier is seen as an ATG while Peter was just another title holder.

peter and frazier spoken about together doesnt sit well with me.

peter was one of the poorest champions for me and didnt have a spit in him compared to the heart frazier had.

Omg, has ESB really gotten to the point where people think Sam Peter is even worthy of sparring with Joe Frazier, let alone being compared to him? This place is f*cking ridiculous now

Deontay Wilder will be Wladimir greatest fight, that imo equals Hagler war with Mugabi :smoke

Wilder = Mugabi (unless Wilder turns out to be worse or better...For now he is Mugabi)
