Frazier gave Ali a rematch so why cant Floyd give Manny a rematch, clearly manny wasn't at his best because of his torn right shoulder, but still managed to win 4 rounds and i think he would win if he gets a rematch and is 100% fit. If frazier didn't give ali the rematch, then ali wouldn't be know as the great ali as everyone knows him to be, as he would have the loss v frazier only and no win which came in the 2 rematch's. Pacman may not be in his prime, but if he fought like vs Algeri he cudda won the fight. First thing i said to myself was wtf is wrong with manny today he looks so stiff, mayweather was his usual self running. Mayweather team is too scared to have a rematch because they know pacman will win it, thats why he's relinquishing his titles so quickly before september.

Pac is no Frazier!!! Pac looked more like Carlos Baldomir and Victoriano Sosa.

Why? Because Ali-Frazier I was a classic, and this fight sucked. Next question.

Joe Frazier was the underdog and won. Ali Gave a very good fight, which turned into a classic.

Pacquioa was the underdog and lost. Mayweather won a very easy fight which turned into a boring fight.

    A lot of difference.

Frazier didn't "give" Ali anything: the rematch took place almost three years later, after Ali had gone 12-1 or something like that: splitting with Norton and defeating Quarry, Bugner, Patterson, Jimmy Ellis, Chuvalo, Mac Foster, etc.

Ali "earned" another shot at Joe, and it it only came after Joe had lost to Foreman and was looking to position himself to rematch with Big George.

And there's no demand or call for a rematch here, Floyd cleary won without much trouble.

Mayweather-Pac could only be made because there was so much money that Showtime (which has the rights to Floyd's fights through his next one) and HBO and the promoters on each side and both fighters could enrich themselves by putting it on no matter how many ways the pie was divided up.

There wouldn't be that kind of money for a rematch. The casuals wouldn't buy it. So there's not enough at the table now to satisfy all parties if they did it again.
