This is one of the best fights of the past 40 years and noone seems to place it in their top 10 greatest fights but me. Why? There's just as much action in this fight as Hagler-Hearns and it's twice as long. The only difference is that one of the fighters(Quarry) is not a top 20 ATG. Beyond that, there's really no difference. I beg anyone who disagrees to please check the fight out again.

Not only that but rds 1 and 2 are two of the best rounds I've ever seen.

Rounds 1 and 2 are great, the rest of the fight was a beat-down on the part of Joe Frazier.

Frazier definitely takes control in round 4 once Quarry slows down a bit.

It's a great fight and it's not forgotten. It's no where near being the one of the all time best fights.

It was a great fight for 2 rounds. Then again you could make the argument that Hagler-Hearns was only a great fight for one round.

I saw it this morning. Ironically you do a thread on the same day but it was a great fight and I'm glad you brought it up. There were a few headbutts but with Quarry coming forward and Frazier being a swarmer they were inevitable.
