frazier vs dempsey

    This is a fight that definitely does'nt go the distance. It's a matter of who gets to who first, and also who has the better chin. Dempsey was like a more primative version of mike tyson; fast hand, two handed power, fast starter, pretty solid chin although not steel like. Frazier usually took a few rounds to warm up, and he was basically a one-handed fighter aside from body punching. He also had a solid chin, contrary to what many people think.

    It's a toe to toe war and the better chin wins. Logic says that two handed power coupled with speed beats one handed power, but we must remember that dempsey was rocked by fighters 20 or more pounds lighter than frazier, so joe would have a good chance.

    If dempsey has tysons chin, i'd favor him. He didn't, however, so that gives frazier an even chance to beat him. It would be pick-em, and it woulcn't go past 5.
