Chuvalo was already on the downside of mostly an opponent like career and Stander's best win was over Earnie Shavers when they were both in the under 20 fight bracket....I think everyone knows Stander was an 100-1 underdog and so was Terry Daniels...Now Ellis was a decent fighter despite(most felt he lost to Patterson) and despite Ellis losing 4 times as a middleweight and dropped by Ruben Carter he became a solid heavyweight....Frazier had 26 fights going into Ali 1 and he was on the down-slide from there after Frazier and Cooney are are some of the best examples of a one-armed fighter in fact Frazier's picture in in the dictionary under- ONE ARMED FIGHTERS
:dealTHIS IN A BIG BIG WAY!! I probably couldn't name you a more one-armed fighter than Frazier - certainly not one as famous - he is the epitome of a one armed fighter - that all he was looking for all the way through all his fights - Frazier I think was incredibly succesful for such a predictable fighter - fighters who were not half as predictable as Frazier got schooled by the likes of Charles and Moore - but again I've not seen a fighter who was as predictable as Frazier and yet still so successful?? It's a toughy - I lean toward Frazier but Ezz would big a very very tough fight for him - infact...?
Al"Bummy"Davis was a converted southpaw like Frazier and Cooney and had a tremendous left hook but slicker fighter like Fritzie Zivic figured this out....Bummy was still effective but when you are in against a guy who knows how to avoid one hand the battle plan is easier to map out. Charles was one of those guys
