**** ur so ****in stupid like frazier fell down on his ass like a ****in 10000 times against foreman his chin is dog**** mate ffs
Very good chin. There's getting TKO'd and then there's getting knocked cold...Frazier never lost consciousness in any of his fights...the force of Foreman bombs put him down, but he never lost his wits and could struggle up. To me, that's a good chin.
Until the first Foreman fight, the picture of Joe Frazier was that of a tank, relentlessly moving forward, taking and shaking off whatever the opposition threw on his way to victory. That picture changed with the Foreman fight. Perhaps Mark Kram in Ghosts of Manila put it best when he wrote that Frazier is not remembered as a great champion because after the Fight of the Century he defended his title against Daniels and Stander and then lost the title in such a devastating manner to George Foreman, which stripped away not only his title, but also his aura of invincibility.
Frazier's chin was solid...... He was only waxed by Foreman 2X..... He got up from Bonavena and was simply battered by Ali..... His chin was good. MR.BILL:bbbhat
He had a solid chin. What great heavyweights who fought big punchers weren't rocked a few times? When constantly boring in against big punchers like Frazier did, it's nearly impossible not to be dropped/stunned at least once or twice. It was just unfortunate for Frazier that Foreman came around with the perfect blend of size, style, and physical strength/power to destroy him. Aside from Foreman nobody was able to bounce Frazier around like that. He absorbed tons and tons of punishment from Ali but litterally waved Ali on for more. He was dropped early in his career against Bonavena but still got up to win. He was stunned by Quarry (a very solid puncher) but again continued on to win. He wasn't being rocked or dropped by light punchers, it took the hardest punchers around to even phase him.
Joe had a solid chin, but was best served by his immense desire and physical conditioning. His chin isn't what got him up, his heart was. His conditioning and desire kept him in your chest, no matter how bad you hurt him.
We can see from this that Frazier had a helluva chin. But what's often overlooked here is Foreman's chin. Joe landed some significant leather early here, and he could bang. And Joe had as much effect on George as Malignaggi might have had on Randy Cobb.
and then he avoided Shavers , Mac Foster , Ron Lyle and Liston , thumbed Chuvalo to avoid getting harmed by him and won against Quarry and Stander only due to cuts .
Frazier was exposed by Foreman and even by Bonavena . If anything , Frazier made Foreman look like a harder puncher than he really was , just like with Moorer unlike Holyfield whom Foreman couldn't put down years earlier. Holyfield did taste canvas vs Bert Cooper and Riddick Bowe though. I think a Zora Folley was enough to expose Frazier just like he was enough to expose Bonavena :yep , and no , Folley was far from being a formidable heavy in all time standards , he was a mere contender in quite a weak era. Both Frazier and Patterson were chinny titlists whom were badly exposed the moment they faced a reasonable puncher whom was made to look spectacular just because they were that chinny.
