Dirrell is a ***** and he was faking that **** vs Abraham + he run from Froch all day.

Kessler pulled out with an eye injury after a huge upset loss.

    Green is a pretender.

    Johnson hasn't earnt his spot.

Taylor was never in in this tournament.

Ward is a *** cheater who uses his head, spoils and insists on hometown fixed fights.

Abraham and Froch are the only guys who'll fight anybody. How can any sane logical boxing fan put any of the above over these two? Abraham will travel stateside to fight people. Froch took his 1st defence state side and took a Kessler fight in his back yard! Froch got injured and reschedules for a month later even!

You can argue Ward is better but we all know that ******* stacks the deck in his favour every single fight so how can we seriously say he is better really?

Abraham vs Froch is x2 warriors battling it out heart to heart. We as fans need to get behind these guys.

Ward vs Bute would be as close as it gets to being a fight for the lineal title in this division. Froch vs Abraham is for the #3 spot

I would love to agree with you but i really couldnt say that with Bute out there and Ward. Yes i hate him because of how he uses his head but thats wy fighters have to bring it up to the refs attention so he stops.

I have been rooting for Abraham all along in this tourney. Froch is starting to grow on me but i hope Abraham KOs him.

Froch is much more of a cheater than Ward is.

I agree with this, Ward is dirty as hell, but he is a very talented fighter. I also think Bute is certainly better than Froch and would most likely beat AA.

So because you think Ward is a cheater (which he isn't) you rate Froch and AA above him (and Bute)? Ward is the clear #1 in the division. What has Abraham done at 168? Beaten a shopworn Taylor - yes, he gets credit for beating him clearly and an excellent knockout, but that's it. Oh, and being outboxed by Dirrell before fouling him. I mean, I like and respect Abraham, I think he'll beat Froch, but come on.

So two fighters coming off a loss should fight for the lineal title?

    Right, that makes perfect sense....

By definition, this is not and cannot be for the linear (lineal) title. Joe Calzaghe won every belt at 168 at one time or another unless Joe Calzaghe is beaten then a new lineage must be created (incidentally, the best way for this to be established would probably be a tournament...).

What lineage is there to look back on? Whoever wins will beat a guy who lost his previous fight. Think about it.

Time will tell the significance of this fight in the future but what we know it cannot create is a linear champion in the super middleweight division.

Well, generally to create a new linear champ, the #1 and #2 guys in the division have to fight. Since Ward and Bute are the two top guys, I don't see how it can even be argued that Froch-AA should be for anything more than a paper title and to make one of them #3 at 168.

It should be a terrific fight between two of the better fighters at their weight class. Shouldn't that be enough?

Ward is a cheating *****?, let me guess, you're a bitter Calzaghe fan who's pissed Ward has Calzaghe's biggest win, by far, on his resume after only 20 fights.

Everyone focuses on the 3 or so headbutts Ward had in his fight with Kessler. A fight he was dominating and really had no need to headbutt which is why I don't really think they were intentional.

Froch on the other hand was getting outboxed by Dirrell so resorted to throwing intentional rabbit punches the rest of the fight. He landed at least 30 rabbit punches against Dirrell. That's ****ing dirty, and he knew he could get away with it because he was in his home town.

Everyone seems to ignore that though and focus on Ward's head. It's ****ing rediculous.

If there were several fights where Ward was landing headbutts it would be fair to call him dirty. There was only one fight though.

At the moment 160 is the only division in boxing that has a clear lineage back to all 4 major titles.
