    BIG step up for Froch.

I see Taylor exposing that leaky defence! ;)

Jermain handled Pavlik pretty good especially at 164 lbs. He ain't gonna fear Froch's size, but his punch. My man Jermain has learned to stay out of trouble and fight smart. Froch better come in better than the limited fighter we've seen so far. A couple of big punches might be enough against your average journeyman, but not against a skilled fighter who knows what he's doing. Your boy's due for a wake-up call, feller!

Good news, and good to see Froch finally going somewhere. I would have liked to have seen Froch-Inkin first, but that is not Frochs fault.

So all you are going on is size?

    They have completely different styles.

Tbh so far all i've seen is Froch being lazy in his comfort zone.

When fiighting Taylor he will be well out of his comfort zone.

He won't be able to sit back, take his time and pic his shots like he's allowed to do against some of the overmatched bums he faces.

Taylor is a huge step up for Froch and many peope have been waiting to see what happens when someone gets a solid right hand through that huge opening he always leaves. :yep

Tough fight to predict, but I see the limited but tested Taylor prevailing via a close decision over a Froch who disappoints on his first major step-up.

Great fight if it happens. Will be good to see how Froch fares against world class opposistion. Its a pity for Froch the Inkin fight didn't come of. The jump up in class from Froch's usually opponents to Taylor will be huge. Inkin would have been a good opponent for Froch to help bridge that gap. Still, got to take a figt like this whenever you get the oppotunity.

Has Froch ever fought anyone with a pulse? Buddy's going to take a serious hiding.

If he manages to separate the left hand from his banger, he could do the job - but perhaps that is one reason why he is so successful, and uses his counterpunching skills. This will be of less use the further up the ladder he goes, as he is pretty slow - just quicker than those fought thus far.

and you call Albert Rybacki? a world class opponent?? at least miranda was ranked before he faught pavlik and so was taylor
please i think your reasoning is flawed like i said who has froch faught on the same level as taylor????

this is a UD for taylor i just cannot see how froch can beat taylor.

and your evidence for this is? enlighten us with your theory why from a BOXING stance rather then a vague "big puncher, granite chin etc"

    :D

Taylor will fight extremely tentatively, just as he did in Pavlik II, because he's scared of getting knocked out. He will take this to an extreme level against Froch, who is the biggest puncher he faced

I don't think standing off Froch is the best way to beat him. Froch has freakish length, and a good jab when used, so it isn't a given that Taylor outjabs him simply through speed. By standing off he gives Froch a chance to tee off with his shots, and really set his feet, which is how Froch gets all his power

I don't see Taylor fighting a disciplined enough fight to avoid taking a couple of big shots, and for all Froch's flaws he is very accurate. Taylor will make the sloppy defensive mistakes we are accustomed to seeing, especially as his stamina fades

I also question Taylor's chin at SMW.

    Zertuche, Marquez, Zuniga......

World beaters they are not, but they are real fighters, who can operate at world level. Unlike any of Froch's opponents. His best win is a shot to pieces Robin Reid.
