I think Taylor is gonna win this using his fast feet, athletic ability, his fasthand and accuracy, he can be tag a couple of time but he wont be hurt, Froch aint the bigger puncher he faced for me.. Taylor is gonna use his jab a lot, he is gonna explose in combinaison and step out of range... Taylor by confortable UD (118-110)
Don't get your limp dick in a twist, little feller! You cannot analyse styles when one fighter's only fought bums and the other fight's faults have been exposed by top fighters. It ain't that easy, sugar pie.
:nono TTFP is a ****er, but he know how to analyse a boxing fight, bums or not, even if he is wrong:deal
He hasn't fought total bums. He fought a couple of solid fighters at the least, and they were genuine SMW's whereas Taylor as never fought one in his life. Yet supposedly its totally ridiculous for me to debate styles, yet its okay for us to assume Taylor is automatically a force +8lbs Clown.
Never seen him use it, like so many fighters these days It is safe to assume Taylor's is better, given what we saw against Hopkins. I can't see Taylor fighting inside though, its not really his style.
Froch doesn't usually have to fight inside for sustained periods - he generally keeps opponents off with his jab before wearing them down and stopping them.
I agree that the weight difference will be an interesting factor, but I've always seen Taylor as being SMW anyway. Dont think he will carry any power, but I think he's a much better boxer than Froch who is yet to be tested and Taylor doesnt rely on his power anyway. Also, if Froch tries to just land one punch as he habit of doing, he will fail to win a single round and end up being embarrassed. Whereas if he gets on the front foot he may be able to make a match of it. Either way, I still see Taylor beating him - with the disclaimer that the weight move wont impact too much on JT!
Hold on to your dick there, little feller, I didn't mean to upset you; don't go crying to your momma now. Jermain's fought 4 lbs shy of 168 lbs and he was better than ever against Kelly Pavlik, who sure is better than Froch. So, yeah, it is okay to assume he'll do allright 4 lbs to the north. And no, Froch's never been with anyone who was world class, so we cannot tell how he's going to do against a top world class fighter like Jermain Taylor. Just because you look unstoppable against bums doesn't mean you'll destroy anyone in sight. It ain't that easy, little feller!
The Pavlik nuthugging on here is daft - but yes, Jermain was much better in the second fight, possibly because he knew what was coming. Had he actually won in the first fight, little credit would have been forthcoming, as many seem reluctant to cut him any slack whatsoever!
4lbs shy is 4 lbs shy. Kelly Pavlik has fought at middleweight most of his career. So the best you got is a middleweight fighting at 164, as basis for Taylor being a sure fire success at SMW. Believe it or not, these guys often fight at 180+ on fight night, whereas Pavlik would be around 170. It is a significant difference my friend. If you can assume Taylor is bound to be okay with the weight, I think its fair for me to assume Froch has the ability to step up in class. Therefore I'll analyse the styles, if thats okay with you.
Jermain UD. I really hope they make this fight happen cause that would put the 168lbs in the levels of the welterweight and Lightweight in terms of competition.
(weight issue aside) and what "world class" opponents has carl froch faught????? that u seem to think makes him the best SMW??? your watching JT against top fighters in bhop, winky, pavlik and critising him as he has "faults" if froch faught against that level of competition don't you think we see faults in him?? you cannot compare and keeping saying on here "i see faults in JT and froch is a big puncher granite chin, froch will win bull****" if you compare JT before he faught against BHOP we would could say Jt has little or no faults. i am starting to think ur carl frochs relative or hennesay promotions person as you cannot see 99% of the people are saying here
