If "chin" is genetic -- and I assume it must be -- then McCall might be your guy. His brain wasn't as easy to shut off as most people. Same with Chuvalo. This seems something closer to a clear genetic gift than Ali's mobility, or Louis's technical punching skill. Although even with absorbing punches, I doubt it's primarily neurological. Training also goes into how well you cope with shots. Post 70s heavyweights (at latest) also have the confounding factor that you're not measuring their genetic gifts so much as their gifts + whatever potions their mad scientist trainers gave them. Then there's the question of whether any current athletes are gene doping. Pursuant to an earlier conversation with @Kamikaze, I'll throw Sharkey into the mix. Abnormally developed strongman legs with no apparent source of said legs in his training.
Wrong- they just didn’t **** around in the 1890s Sharkey was a cripple before he started training with my great pop.
Ill say Tommy Hearns. Its just insane how tall, long and a hard hitter with speed he was at 147/154, he almost had every physical advantage you want in a boxer.
Balderdash. Everyone knows that Mackie Shilstone invented training in 2003 for the Jones fight. Before that, fighters just headbutted the bag when the mood took them, and prayed to small votive images for the strength of a brace of oxen (and/or rain.)
Shows what you know. My Dad is a Navy SEAL and President of the United States. He's an expert in gorilla warfare, too.
You win this time, buddy. But don't think it'll be this easy if we ever start speculating about each other's moms' relative obesity.
Y'all just jumped right beyond Defcon 11. Playtime's over now. This content is protected Find. A. Jab.
Just after 2:33 and that was just skimming with a dedicated watch I could probably find at least 5- Johnson was ahead of his time nice try.
