how many contenders can u consider getting the shot at any title and got there by freak luck> ie jimmy braddock. how many champions or contenders kept or won their title over someone they wernt supposed to beat with a freak luck shot or superior boxing? ie braddock over baer, marciano vs wolcott, foreman when he regained the title as a fat old man with one great big shot, chavez over taylor pure freak luck it would have taken chaves at leats 2 seconds to get back over to taylor and thus the bell would have rang.

EDIT. When i mean luck its not meant to be his performance, its the fact he came in as a last minute sub

Willie Pastrano was a sub for a sub, Tom Bethea with an atrocious record stops Nino in a non-title fight and gets a title shot and who could forget Luis Santana winning the title and defending his title on the canvas. Hope he kept the money he earned in those 3 fights with Norris. Perhaps he took up acting. At least it wouldn't be a stretch.

Pacquiao being a 2 week substitute as an opponent for Ledwaba. Supposed to be an easy fight for Ledwaba.

    The rest is history.
