LaMotta was the guy I thought of when I saw this thread the other day and hadn't had a chance to get back to. To me he was freakishly TOUGH, so much so you got the feeling not only didn't he mind the punches but he hardly noticed them.

If he was on them, then certainly tons of fighters since the 80's, 70's or even earlier have been on them, but despite that, there have been little to carry a 6'2 240lbs ripped frame while averaging 70 punches a round at high speed and power. The man was a freak in any way one can be. :yep

Surprised no one said Foreman for his freakish power, or Lewis for his outstanding ablility to use his size and athletic ability which to me is or at least was unique. (I say was because Wlad and Vitali are showing similar abilities)

Prior to Lewis a fighter his size was usually not very athletic, or if he was not a great boxer. Lewis was both. But he's more fluid than either of the K brothers.

And Foreman, well his punching power speaks for itself, no need to elaborate.

Might want to add Chuvalo's chin

I agree with MT and RJJ but Judah? What exactly was his talent? Being ineffectual in his biggest fights? Maybe his talent lay elsewhere from boxing.
