he is dropping down to super fly weight to fight flash villicura for the vacant aussie title.fred will be so big & strong at this weight..dont see why he wont win a world title.

Way too early to be talking world titles. How about he starts fighting more than than once a year. Since 2008 he has had 3 fights. He has fought no one, the best guy on his record is robert lerio and he was very competitive with mundraby.

Its going to be hard to get fights here at that weight,so unless he has a team behind him who can keep him active and step him up against overseas comp, his career wont go anywhere. The kid just doesn't fight.

Depending on how flash has trained, fred may have his work cut out in that one. I think fred will be too good, but he should be rolling through guys like villacura.

No offence to fred, because it would be good to see a young kid from the bush do really well. But at this stage, he is way over hyped.

time will only tell.. he fights on the 20th aug.flash usally goes the distance in his fights but i think fred will stop him before then end of the 10 rounder.
didnt you here in the interview, fred wasnt getting fights because of where he lived and his old trainer didnt like to fly...
who do you think fred should fight in australia before we talk world titles?

Definitely way to early to be talking world titles but he does have some really good skills. Great prospect but as perfect jet said he needs to be fighting more.

Well he wont be fighting anyone here at flyweight assuming he gets through villacura because.....their arent any flyweights here.

None that i know of who regularly campaign at 53kgs. Again, no offence, but its a clayton aussie title.

I can only assume he will soon be fighting imports. He's had ten fights so and half of them have been against two guys, meridith and arang.

Good luck to him but by going down to flyweight it's going to be hard to stay busy.

I first saw him live in his 4th fight against leigh lindgren.

He was ****ing amazing. It was like there were two of him. He made leigh miss by 2 feet sometimes.

It was almost like watching a video game... you know where a character disapears and comes up somewhere else!!!

I was soooooooooooooo impressed, that night he really blew my mind.

Ive seen a couple of fights since then.

He looked really really good in some but in atleast one it looked like he just wasnt trying and way off with his accuracy and movement.

I heard he was having trouble with motivation around that time so i dont know what the deal was but he was very very ordinary.

He has since moved away and I havent seen his recent stuff.

I really hope that he stays motivated because on 2 occassions that I saw him when he was on his game i really thought that he could go a LONG way in boxing!

freddie mundraby is a good prospect. sure he needs more fights but he's only 22. i'm watching him on august 20 and i'll be barracking for him. he's got good power and with a little luck and right management he will get the bigger fights in the future.

Mundine would win plenty of supporters backing young koori boxers like Fred, he has the money, why not, hey Ashley your in the camp right, bring the kid to Sydney set him up, he has the talent but no backing Mundine could change all that and it would be a tax right off at the very least.

Kid's a Good prospect, but for Fu*k sake keep Mundine and his Circus away from him,the last thing he needs is to be in bed with the Biggest joke in Australian Boxing.!!!!!
