BoxNation are showing the fight live and Sky 1 are showing an hour long post fight documentary.

strange that Sky 1 would do a documentary series and then the fight is show on a rival chanel.

Fit for purpose in cricket is different to fit for boxing.

I'll be honest I thought this was a wind up and I really hope It is. This seems like something the Japanese MMA orgs would do not a UK Boxing promoter.

He will turn out to be the UK version of Jose Canseca. :deal

This. Full credit to anyone who steps in the ring, at any level, to test themselves but I can't see past this being an ego trip more than anything else.

It'll be interesting to see how he goes.

If he goes two or three unbeaten it'll make a mockery of the supposed tough journeyman.

Tom Dallas wouldn't be a bad choice of opponent, come to think of it.

I've followed his cricket career so it's gonna be interesting to watch this, but I doubt he's as serious about this as he's making out. It just smacks of gimmick. Something he's doing because someone came up with the idea "Hey, I know what would make a good tv show!"

No doubt he'll train very hard for this, but is he really that passionate about boxing or is he just doing it for tv? I think it's the latter. I mean, he's done everything, quiz shows, survival shows, etc.

little known fact about man of the people flintoff. the current england squad strongly dislike him and when he retired from playing for england that team didnt like him either.

apparently he rated himslef rather highly and was only interested in spen ding time with his mate harminsn

he is currently not weelcome in the england dressing room, partly due to his comments about michael atherton

the guy just loves attention. Sod him, that is a place on under card that somebody else actually deserves.
