Another thread gave me this idea. Two boxers who fought ANYONE anywhere. Both talented although Freddy hit harder but Augustus a slight edge in defense/stamina.
At their best who wins 12 rounds ?

Two gate keepers of their division's when fighting. Floyd stated Augustus gave
him his hardest fight. Go on Pendleton on dec however if they fought a trilogy i
i am sure Augustus would have one at least once.

    I favor Pendleton.

I think he was at a higher level peak for peak

Augustus was very busy, but lacked Pendleton's power.

    Bpth guys had remendous heart.

At least the judges' decison would likely not be biased as neither guy was "the hometown guy,"

    Bump.
An all out entertaining slugfest but Pendleton’s superior power becomes the major difference and I think he’d be able to stop Augustus late in the fight.
