Zab was never ordinary. Zab was always dedication challenged.

Pac's GREATEST wins are in dispute or against guys coming off of losses. You think he ever took on the guy who beat the guy? Hell no!

 

Not even close, but he deserved the claim to be the first person to put Mayweather on his backside.

 

I respect Roach a lot, but I don't see how Judah 'almost' knocked Floyd out...he stunned him with a big left, and then Floyd blocked and rolled pretty much every shot that came after that. Once the ref separated them at the ropes his head was already looking clear again. I also don't think Judah is 'ordinary'...in terms of raw talent, he's very high level indeed, and that alone elevates him above the ordinary level. He's obviously not as good as Pac is, and we should never forget that someone on the level of Baldo slapped him around the ring before the Floyd fight even happened, but I dunno if I'd call him an ordinary fighter.

Roach is indeed correct on the activity part, though.

Judah was physically gifted but he was never a skilled fighter and he doesn't have the mindset of a champion. Everyone knows he is mentally flawed and, because of that, he's often listed as a "what if" type of fighter, but apart from his mental flaws, he just wasn't that good at his best. We all know Mayweather outboxed him, but Mayweather is special...though what about Cotto? Cotto is a great fighter, I think, but he showed he was leagues above Judah as an actual boxer and nobody says Cotto was special as a boxer, yet he outboxed Judah. And Baldomir? You will never, ever find a better styles match up for Judah at world level. If Judah was 1/10th the master technician his fans make him out to be, he'd have schooled Baldomir and made him look like an amatuer.

Against the Santa Cruz's of this world, we all know Judah will look good but he has never beaten a top fighter, other than Spinks, and that's stretching the definition of a "top fighter". Judah has never beaten another top fighter and never will. This delusion that he can beat any of the elite fighters at 140 is embarrassing.

Gifted physically but that's it.

 

Judah is below ordinary.
