To all y'all assholes saying the fight is irrelevant with Floyd. Think again. This is a legacy fight for both fighters. It may not have happened in 2008, but its still legitimate because its at 154lbs and Cotto has a legit trainer now (finally), and he IS and has gotten his bearings straightened out since getting cheated against. Eat your hearts out!

Translation: Personally i dont have a ****ing clue so would be interested to see what gameplan they come with. Maybe they could help me out as i haven't figured him out.

I love this fight , might be the best challenge Floyd has had in a long time. Hopefully Cotto has enough left .

Roach just wants Cotto to win so they wont have to worry about Mayweather exposing Pacquiao. hes hoping Cotto wins so he can get another huge payday and easy fight with Cotto

Man it doesn't matter, the way posts have been going on here, you'd think Cotto was coming into the fight with an eye patch, an arm cast, and on crutches. I feel an upset in the making.

there was a reason floyd retired after hatton. his name was cotto. the excuse that he wasn't a draw was pure bull****. floyd was smart to take a vacation because margarito and pacquiao softened cotto up for him. thing is...cotto still has a lot left. u will all see come may 5th.

Cotto is the best fighter for either of these two bimbos (floyd or pacquiao) to take at the present time. Reality is that Martinez is out of reach and since Cotto getting cheated against hes gotten his career back on track. Hes doing great now with his new trainer and I am SO excited to finally see Floyd vs Cotto. Was dying for it to happen in 08, and now its happening at 154lbs. I'm happy as hell.

If Ortiz wasn't so stupid to let himself get sucker-punched, he would have proved to be a better challenge at this time for Floyd than Cotto.

I think it's both-I mean, I'm sure Roach would love to train Floyd...both approach the fight game as real professionals IMO:thumbsup

I feel like I've posted this in a million threads already but I'll say it again anyway. Cotto looked really good at 154 in his last fight and displayed tools needed to beat Mayweather; a hard jab, combination punching, and strong for 12 rounds while moving. Can't wait for the fight, and I hope Cotto lands a monster body shot sometime early in the fight.
