They both brought their heads forward and they both were cut, Khans was a lot smaller. Barrera is much older so his skin was wore, which was why his cut was so bad. Anybody who thinks that was on-purpose is a ****ing straight up ******. I like how Fan-boys and Haters think they have better boxing knowledge then professions and experts, by the way.

Before the Khan fight, I knew for sure Barrera was shot. He struggled with a fighter that was something like 2-10 record and got a nasty cut before his fight with Khan. I expected Khan to win. Nothing new here, a young lion with a former king of the hill trying to revive his career.

Marquez on the other hand, has aged much better than Barrera and is still very dangerous. He is a 125-135 fighter and I feel 135 should be the limit for him. He survived 12 humiliating rounds with Floyd. Unless Marquez ages overnight, Khan's speed will not be enough as he doesn't have the defense Pac or Floyd have and even flooring Marquez won't be enough to stop him. Marquez is also a much better finisher than Khan who still leaves himself wide open. If the Marquez from 130-135 resurfaces, the sameone that fought Manny and Diaz, Khan is getting stopped for sure.

Marquez aged better because he wasn't fighting the same level of competition Barrera was from 1997-2002. Likewise, Marquez turned professional at age 20. Barrera? 15. It's a no brainer, really.

I agree though, Marquez will be a much tougher test for Khan...and I for one cannot wait to see Roach shut his big mouth. A Barrera job? Okay so we're going to see more corruption. Cannot wait. :good

Khan has always been hit-able and Maidana packs much more punch at 140 than Marquez. That's why Amir Fraud won't fight him. MAB was well past his prime and nothing like the MAB we grew to love a decade ago.

    I hope JMM beats Khan's a$$.

like we dont know that the mafia promoters told the doctor, referee and everyone involved, not to stop the fight after the fourth,so it wont be a no decision....i used to like roach, not anymore,he is to involved,i really hope marquez will win!!

Marquez gave Pac nightmares and should beat Khan easily.

The Barrera stoppage was absurd given that Khan caused a massive cut via a headbutt in the first and then spoiled the fight which ended just after Khan looked in danger of getting his chin checked.

Now that barrera fight should have been stopped in the first, anyone saying otherwise needs glasses. But at what point did Khan cause that cut via a headbutt! yea maybe a cheek butt you plonker.....it was accidental and if anything it was more Barrera's fault!

Barreras forehead hits Khans cheeks, look at the youtube clip at 3.13.

How some ppl here jus blatently talk outter their ass is unbelievable.

Khan JMM is very interesting. If that comes off and then fights Maidaina i'll give him massive props (if he wins and a big IF versus JMM in the first place).

Hell massive props to take this fight on anyway.

I agree with wah your saying. marquez wins if amir khan turns up like he is now doing the same stuff he does with kotlenik (1-2 move, 1-2 body) but i am confident that if this fight is signed roach will taylor him in a way that he will have a shot at beating marquez. off course the chin is always a question against someone like marquez but then again khan is going to be the underdog for a reason.

I'd have to go with Khan UD but i know how risky that bet is
