True, it is self-confidence and not trash talking when you back it up. It's not just Pac either. I would want any fighter to learn from Roach above anyone else, although Manny of course is his masterpiece.

Yeah, that was good. That's the way Freddie is in all his interviews I've heard.

That was before the test results came out about the substance in the wraps so Freddie feels a little different now I imagine. I just listened to him talk about this a little bit ago!

he doesn't really know what to believe its not an easy thing. I've been in situations like that where you want to believe someone, but you're not sure. And then someone comes around and asks you if you believe it and you're like "yea I believe" but you're still not sure

He's not a politician just proud and probably amazed how Pac has become the best fighter in the world.

The man is a tactician and studies their opponents hard.

He believes they have the plan to beat him.

Im thinking Freddie is just having some fun with some of that stuff hes been saying and doing, just so Snr dont get lonely playing all by himself.

Its entertaining watching these guys clowning around. Id much rather see these two trainers joking around, than seeing some foul mouthed haters representing boxing to the world at large.

what is he supposed to do say pacman wont win? :patsch Mayweather is doing the same thing talking about how hatton will beat pacman. They have to say those things to show they believe in their fighter.

When the whole world including some pacfans thought delahoya would knockout pacman, roach was the main guy who said pac can win. He is the trainer much like a coach to a basketball team and football teams. The coaches have to tell their players they can win even when the whole world think they have no shot of winning.

i Usually think Roach is talking alot of ****. But he usually eventually contradicts himself so he usually ends up being right about half of the time.

    Out burst?

Don't get carried away . . . both sides are just trying to stir up attention and curiosity . . . trying to make a good PPV sales record. :deal

Its just to feed the PPV, heck Floyd Sr. does it all the time. Why can't Roach do it also?

yeah it is all a little ridiculous with the trainer stuff. Too much is being put on the trainers.. They are not the big story, it is the fighters.
