Pac probally wont kill Josh as Josh has better Defense more technically sound the chin is arguable pac showed he had a chin vs cotto to but pac is going to win on cards he is going to win off work rate if cotto couldnt put this guy away bursting his ear drum clottey sure wont. and we know he dosent have the output to win on cards
but we shall see what happens I see a mismatch or a perfect match by Roach I could be wrong tho!

 

I agree with absolutely everything you say except for 1 point which is I don't think Clottey ultimately did enough beyond a shadow of reasonable doubt to say he won the fight. Cotto ended showing more ring generalship in the last quarter of the fight by getting on his bike to take a narrow decision at the time Clottey should have been going for broke to take it. Azumah Nelson by comparison did not let Wilfredo Gomez of the hook in Puerto Rico. By way of example when we took Ajose to wales to fight Bradley Pryce the rules were simple if a round was close we gave it to Pryce hence the MOU was beat the hometown boy proprly round by round and not to let him see the final bell so as not to be robbed.

 

I think even tho Manny will win, this will b an even more competitive fight then alotta ppl think...

And one more thing... When Cotto was "getting on his bike" as you call it for the last quarter of the fight (more like from Round 7 -12) why is that considered ring generalship as opposed to what it really was in this instance RUNNING...???? HE knew that if he got to the scorecards, he would be in pretty good shape..


You are basically admitting that there was nothing Clottey could do to win this fight by decision, especially in Madison Square Gardens on the eve of the Puerto Rican Day Parade. Why should he have to make sure he didn't "see the final bell" in order to be considered the better fighter?

In an ideal world sentiment being the hometown guy etc should not come into but we know it does. Remember all the crap Ricky Hatton used to get away with in his bouts in Mnachester. However if you are from Africa you know what needs to be done and farnkly I don't think Clottey did what he had to do period. Sad but true. Cotto improvised to steal the decisionby employing lateral movement and used his jab. This is not running but using your tools otherwise are we to classify Ali as a runner.
