I also think Roach did a brilliant job of doing things that got into DLHs head. DLHs always been a guy who lacks confidence and thinks alittle to much. Remember Roach trained him and would say hey I know his weaknesses and we are going to exploit that, theres him confronting DLH at the track on Monday which bothered Oscar you could tell Oscar got all tight looking and tried to pretend Roach was not there, theres the wrapping thing last night and Roach even being present for the hand wrapping before the fight.

yes i've underrated Freddie Roach alot in recent times. He is a much better trainer than i thought.

Nacho Beristan disappointed me i thought he should have built a gameplan around Oscar's right hand but he obviously didnt or couldn't

roach, with all he has going against him proves time and again what he can do. every trainer should hope to be a 1/5 of him.

Yes.. Roach has done one hell of a job and when he said Pacquiao could beat DLH back around in June, everyone thought he was crazy.. They took the fight, predicted a TKO, and guess what? Won the fight.. Roach is improving Pacquiao after each and every fight..

But he did for his fight with JC. And he does have extensive experience with Hops.

So he must have been "aware" of the capabilities going into the fight.

I'm not knocking him as a trainer - I think he's excellent too. But before we get too excited (which can always happen in these sorts of things) just a little hint to keep reality in check - he's not always right.

I think Oscar surrounded himself with yes men. I expect more from Nacho as well, but if the fighter isn't up to it...

Roach got unfairly blamed for DLH loss to Floyd.

If you listen in the corner Roach was telling DLH all the right things but DLH just wouldnt act on it in the ring.
