Ok, so the only thing you’ve got is Roach saying “I insist”. Again, this goes back to what I’ve said above about misinterpretation. The reporter could so easily have misbelieved that to mean Roach wanting extra tests. It happens. Roach, a guy who can be difficult to understand in the first place, and a Filipino reporter with English not his first language....means a misinterpretation is not out of the ordinary.

But what we have got now at least, is Roach clearing up the matter. According to you, he said he was referring to just the standard procedure. So that should be that. But you wish he really was calling for extra testing, so that it gives you and others a good reason to bash him. But him coming out and clarifying his statements, spoils all that. So here you are now, calling him a liar instead.

"Exposed as a liar".....? Why do people state things like this, as if they don't lie themselves?? I don't know one person who has not lied in the past week alone.

And in a sport were everyone lies...what do you expect? Whether he was lying, or whether it was misinterpreted...why do you even care?

 

Roach talks out his behind most of the time, whats new, the guy says one thing then another etc, just dont believe a word he says and it works ok

People just stop it. We live in a society where pro athletes use PED'S. There is nothing wrong with doing additional test. Manny should do OSDT with no cut offs to fight Floyd. In Nevada they only do post fight urine test. They will do a pre fight test in they suspect anything or hear of any rumors and they will notify the fighter and do a pre fight urine test. You have teenagers who compete in the Olympics that give blood and urine to be tested and a pro boxer can as well. Maybe Floyd thinks Manny is cheating. I have a question for any Manny fan who claims it to be a roadblock. Is Mike Tyson a coward for asking Holyfield to do additional testing? What about Zab for asking Mosley or even Oscar for having Floyd do additional testing for their fight? Holyfield took the test, Floyd took the test. Get real

I have reason to believe it was a legit quote, it makes Roach/Pac's team look bad, why would a pinoy journalist lie to make Pac look bad? Doesnt make sense, he has no incentive to make Pac look bad. If he had any favortism you would assume it would be a pro Pac bias.
