Freddie Roach: "(Floyd Mayweather) struggled against Oscar...we knocked Oscar out"

No one is making excuses. Styles make fights. Just because Pac beat Oscar handily, doesnt mean he would beat PBF. This is getting out of hand. All the credit to Pac for proving people wrong.

 

When Pac gets his ass whooped fighting floyd , I don't want hear any crying bull **** that floyd was too big for pac , because you have already been warned .. pac will soon find out that fighting weight drained Oscar is not going to be the same as fighting a full fledged jr welter or welter weight that is at full strength .

Freddie has the shakes. Fans know Floyd fought the better version of Dlh. Dlh even knew he couldn't fight Floyd at 147 lol.

 

He did land more than Pacquiao, there were a few uppercuts that landed, about eight times with the jab to the stomach and a right to the head, right hand lead against the ropes twice, his jabbed landed way more than Oscars too. It didn't do much damage, because Oscar was not weight drained and dehydrated. If Oscar was his normal self, i don't think he would back up on the ropes.

I remember Freddie sayin' somethin' like:" "Just keep turning him into this corner son, and I'll fix the rest of it"


Now I've got to rewatch the fight in Slo-mo.

 

Freddie Roach got it right with De LaHoya/Pacman fight, so now I guess he is going to act like he has the answers to everything until he is wrong again about a fight outcome. After Mayweather beats Pacman, Roach won't be as eager to brag about his predictions.

Yeah he did. You are right. I forgot about that. Saying Hopkins walked to the wrong corner and all that. He looks like a wizard now after picking the exact round of Delahoya/Pacman, but we all make great picks on fights sometimes. I used to pick fights better 20 years ago then I do now. When I predict fights now I am usually way off.

 

No one can predict every fight accurately. Some fights just dont go as planned.
