If only Amir had took on a world class trainer soon after he turned pro as I advised him to in an open letter on the British forum.

Even in a short period of time Roach has worked wonders for him. I was more impressed with the PERFORMANCE last night as opposed to the result. Khan use of angles with his already superfast speed completely bamboozled Barrera.

Roach just polished his speed, handspeed, workrate and his defense.

They got a good harmony in both ways. Khan followed the gameplan well. Roach laid out the Pac-Hoya gameplan effectively.

But it's still up to Khan how he manage his shaky chin.

Yes, the chin will always be a problem, but Khan will always be in exciting fights because of that, hence he'll be big box office and opponents will always believe they have a chance, so there shouldn't be too many ducking Khan

Well executed headbutt. Havent seen Roach use this approach before, but clearly it worked.

It was Barrera who was swinging his head, And Khan was on stationary. Guess you didn't watch the replay or even the fight.

Also we all know Barrera is well known for cheap shots and headbutts.

On the contrary almost everyone will call on him hoping for a quick work on his chin.

Everyone would want to fight him. It's a win win situation.

    1. If opponents win, He can easily expose Khan's new improve(improve?) skills.

    2. To have an easy win because of his shaky chin.

Khan has gone from sparring featherfisted Fewkes to guys like Pacman so I'm not surprised he has improved!

I just think Amir should lessen the attitude a bit. I know hes a confident guy and all but it wouldt hurt his image i guess

The best advantage of Roach is his own Wild Card Gym. Where he can easily find different types of fighters for Sparring.
