Just got round to reading the Freddie Roach interview in Boxing News and it is a brilliant read, a good six pages on Roach and filled with many interesting insights into the great man. There are also a couple of articles from the same interview with Roach on the Boxing News website, well worth a read:good
Yeah, it was the first I had heard of this story, Rourke really acted like a *****. Also, the landlord for the Wildcard is taking the **** jacking up the price from 3k to 10k per month, Roach should get his own place now.
Was a good little read. I liked the bit about Rourke sending down some men to beat up him and his fighters
very good interview bit sad in some ways freddie really has no life outside boxing.micky rourke is mad, like that they asked freddie about giving time to fighter something fighters have complained about.it was better then the piece the ring did on roach for their 90th anniversary issue
the feb 2012 issue got it over the weekend in easons.covers slick and got some interesting old articles in it from nat fleischer and others.i don't like the new layout and style but maybe i just need time to get use to like when boxing news changed their style
I don't like it either. Is it just me, or has the font size increased quite a bit? I noticed it especially in their interview with Merchant. It was spread out over 3 pages despite little in the way of depth, yet they've had 3/4 page interviews in the last year or so with Brian Kenny, Giovani Segura, B-Hop and others that seem to be, well, longer and more in depth.
