    I can't watch the video here, but is he saying training 44 rounds a day, or sparring 44 rounds a day. Because I have no trouble believing the first at all, he's a well trained professional athlete.

    Its rounds training. But Roach also said in another vid that pacquiao is known to do 24 consecutive rounds of sparring at times with interchanging sparring partners.

    I can do 12+ times 3 against lesser opponents (sparring mind you not fighting) so I have no trouble believing he can double my figures.

    In a more recent interview roach said manny would let his opponent beat on him on purpose to condition his body to take hits. His sparring is usual hardcore and resembles a fight rather than working on certain skills.

    Roach makes Pac's body, head and mind learn and cope up getting hit. Thats why they do the stick training and some rounds where Pac just let his opponent hit him as much as they want.

    There are tons of videos of it.
