In the end, the Pacquiao / Roach combo works because he is winning. If he starts losing to those he has no business losing, then we can say that Roach is a liability.

nah...not a liability at all. Just a main figure in Manny's close group of people he trusts. Roach says a lot of things. And a lot should be taken with a grain of salt. The Josh prediction was probably accurate if Josh had come to fight and opened up, but he came to survive. So you can't really fault Roach for that prediction.

With Paulie....I thought that was WAAAAAY off but after the dominating performance I think Paulie could have easily been blasted out of there earlier than it did. 3 rounds for Paulie......that's tough to do and I did NOT agree...but I didn't think it would be a one sided schooling either.

The Floyd comment....I laughed.. I think it was just Roach tryng to say something that would get Floyd's attention. But Roach is anything but a liability considering the position he's helped Manny garner for himself in his profession.

Roach said the Paulie knockout in 3 rounds just to scare Paulie. He even said in the interview.

In the first press interview he said it would be a long fight which would probably go the distance.
