He's taken Pac a long way, make no mistake about it. Compare this Pac to the skinny guy losing to Singsurat and Torrecampo and you see a considerable difference. Freddie brought the best out of him.

yeah its tough to say, Khan has so many god given abilities, and he was so young (still is) but youre right, he could have been a david reid type , even though Khan was 10 times the amateur he was, but we will never know .... my main point is roach is a great fine tuner to guys who are already gifted....and i think thats a good thing, a true measure to greatness as a trainer is to bring up one of your own, home grown which emanuel stward brought a lot up before he became a "fine tuner" . duva had quite a few....even joe goosen had nunn and the ruelas brothers . but this is the future....guys come up and when their trainers can no longer take them to the next level or they need a jump start...then they go to the hired guns....such as roach, steward ect....

Manny was one dimensional (handed) when he first fought El Terrible. Since then, he has become a more complete fighter. E.g. He didn't possess the right hook that KTFO Hatton until Roach trained it into him. With a two handed attack, he becomes more than twice as deadly, since his opponent can't continually move to the left anymore to escape his only source of power.

Roach did that, but the question is, could Mayweather senior?
