    * There'll be some lessons to learn in the gym following Maidana fight - not moving away from gameplan to please the crowd
    * Next fight will be winner of Bradley / Alexander
    * Unify 140
    * Beat Mayweather some time in the back end of 2011

Haters said this kid had no career after Prescott.
    :blurp
He came back and beat Barerra within 2 fights.

Haters said he'd never become World Champion.
    :blurp
He became one of the UK's youngest world champions and did so within 3 fights of Prescott.

Haters said he'd never do well againist a fast speedster like Paulie. :blurp
He won every round against Malignaggi.

Haters said he'd never take a punch from a puncher. :blurp
He beat the biggest puncher at 140 and ate everything Marcos had to give.

Haters say he made lots of mistakes last night and will never be P4P
I say, he wanted to make statement about his chin last night- and didn't run like everyone said he would. Statement made. Now, it's back to business.

Bring on winner of Alexander / Bradley... :deal

Big talk. He also said they'd knock Maidana out in two, I think. Freddie just loves to talk his fighter up, like Mayweather Senior likes to talk himself up.

He could unify at 140lbs but Mayweather takes Khan to skool and beats him easily.

I want him to rematch prescott, in a few months, beat alexander/bradley then reign a bit at 140, mayweather fight might happen in 2012 but right now it is a easy fight for floyd.

I predicted Khan to win very comfortably, he has the boxing skills to have done so. But the fact that he got into a war with maidana and nearly got knocked out again is worrying.

I don't know why he gets hate. Khan deserves big props. He's one of the best young fighters in the sport today.

His chin will always be a problem, and he was ready to go at times in this fight but he was able to pull through against a monster puncher.

A Prescott rematch would be absolutely pointless. Maidana is better in everyway and Khan beat him.

Totally agree. No point in facing Prescott again.

The most important thing in that was that Roach realizes that Khan did not follow the game plan in the later rounds. I think the focus should be to unify the 140 division and not on PBF. Khan needs at least another 3-4 fights before they begin to think about that.

I NEVER blame fighters for trying to avenge losses, no matter how pointless it may be to me personally. I didn't even begrudge BHOP fighting Jones again. That's just personal **** if a guy wants to take care of, it doesn't matter how far either has progressed or regressed since the first match. I never blame them.

I think Khan wanted to prove something about his durability in this fight and he did exactly that.

Those shots in Round 10 were brutal... they would have easily KO'd the majority of 140 lbers in the division, and he took them and fought back.

I only expect Khan's durability to get better and better as he fills out with age and his conditioning improves (which it already has significantly since the Prescott fight).

Freddie Roach is not crazy. Unless Floyd becomes shot in that time span, Amir Khan is not going to fight Mayweather. Amir needs to concentrate on the 140 division before thinking about floyd mayweather.

I think he took way more punishment than he needed but wanted to prove a point. Can you imagine this guy when he goes back to the type of fighter that fought Kotelnik / Paulie, but throw in shots from crazy angles and more lateral movement??

Roach and Khan are going to achieve wonderful things in boxing over the next few years. :thumbsup

Khan can't win. If Khan avoided those shots he would've been accused of running!

Roach has to work on improving Khan's power and punch placement. You can't have guys like Maidana just walking through your punches like that. Even if Maidana has a great chin.

Also, his footwork. Getting countered over the jab by a guy like Maidana means that Khan is often in a poor position when he throws his jab.

I think alot of room for improvement...

But honestly, I think Maidana would probably go no worse than 1-1 against Bradley and Alexander. The guy is an underrated fighter.

I would rank Khan as the #1 guy in the division with wins over Kotelnik, Malignaggi, and Maidana.
