Problem is the ref is supposed to step in when a fighter is 'unable to continue', not when 'is this a convenient time to stop the fight'.

McCloskey has got to keep on throwing punches when Khan flurries him!

A lot of TKOs are borderline KOs, but to some people, proper KOs - which are becoming rare these days - are used to measure a person's punching power. And according to some on here, Khan's power is inferior to McCloskey's because Khan has less KOs than him. Lol

hes loads of TKOs by the only actual KO to his name, was when Prescott KO'd him.

should be a good fight...im hopin for McCloskey to KO Khan in round 8, not as safe as betting on Khan but much better odds!

esp with a dodgy frank warren in-home corrupt bent referee that'll stop anytime khan (or the house fighter) would throw a flurry. :-(

Fight will get stopped when McCloskey hits the canvas three times or his unable to get up from a brutal body shot with his soft stomach!

definitely seems like a lot of the fights get stopped earlier than I'd expect in England...hope tis one ends with a real KO...by Dudey! :hey

Khan dropped Mohammed Medjadji in the first round with a single right hand. Medjadji just about got up, did a little chicken dance and the ref waved it off. If he hadn't waved it off Khan would have inflicted a very brutal KO just a few seconds later. One shot finish.

Yeah, but my point was that a single shot did it. And it was a single shot that almost had Maidana out in the first too. People underestimate Khan's power; when he chooses to sit on his punches there is some meat to them.
