So Roach is on Floyd's side in this flame war?

You're clearly on the other side of the flame war so your opinion isn't worth **** here either. Get off the e-high horse.

Did Roach say that floyds win is better than pacquiaos win in that video?

Im sorry man but objectively speaking Hatton was not shot to the point where a 10 round tko was better than a 2 round annihilation ending in hatton being put the **** to sleep.

Only a nutthugger wouldnt be able to concede this obvious point

I'm at work and didn't even watch the video so I'm not sure.

It's a matter of opinion. Taking the 0 vs the dramatic 2nd round knockout. *****'s on one side, *******s on the other. You've drawn your line in the sand so you're about as credible as BG and I are on this.

Is Floyd's win over Ortiz better than Maidana's? Sure, the KO was questionable but he was dominating the entire fight while Ortiz was leading the fight at the time of Maidana stoppage.

I'll go with Maidana here. You?

The fact that you took notice of it, tells me it did the job I intended it to do:lol:

He practically did. He said after floyd beat Hatton it had taken a lot out of him. Therefore he is suggesting that Hatton that fought Pac was not the same fighter.

    You follow so far?

So how can Roach see Pac's win against Hatton as a better win than Floyd's when Roach has admitted otherwise.

That would make no sense now would it?

    Same here

I hear you man but this is one of those situations where to me (ill admit its my strong opinion) wheres there isnt much subjectivity here. Pac dominated Hatton in such a dramatic fashion that I really dont see anyone making the case that Floyds win is better just because he took the 0, when it took him 10 rounds (there were a close few early rounds) just to get a tko. Its not like Hatton was shot to Corey Spinks levels after that fight either.
As far as Maidana-Ortiz-Floyd, while Maidanas ko was better as he didnt get it while Ortiz was unprepared (stupid on his part), I admit that Ortiz didnt come close to hurting Floyd like he did against Maidana, so that win probably holds more weight.

Just like Oscar, Pac beat the **** out of him, but he was shot and weight drained, so you have to give Floyd a little more credit for his win, even though he only got a sd

So is Floyds win better because Roach says so? Or do you have your own reason why you think Floyds tko 10 is better than Pacs ko 2?

You acting like I put words into Roach's mouth. These are Roach words and thoughts.

Now if you want my thoughts on whose win is better I would also go with floyd.

    Three main reasons.

Hatton was an undefeated p4p ranked fighter at the time.

Floyd was the first man to stop Hatton. Pretty impressive for someone who is not known for their knockout power or stoppages, especially against a durable foe as Hatton.

Hatton was with his life long Trainer Billy Graham and was comfortable working with that trainer.

The hatton that fought pac had floyd Sr as his trainer and we all watched 24/7 and saw how that went.

Not acting like youre putting words into his mouth, im just saying that whatever he did say in the video im sure he wouldnt outright say that Floyds win is better, and (more importantly) even if he did who cares? Roach doesnt form my opinions.

As far as your reasoning, I respect it. Disagree with it like a mother****er, but at least you have them.

I personally dont place too much stock in the fact that Floyd was the first to beat him. (happenstance, if he fought Pac first then it would have been him to pop his cherry). And its not like he was shot to **** after the Floyd loss.

Billy Graham was a pretty good trainer but he really didnt teach Hatton **** in the way of defense. Theres a reason he left him. And I think Hatton looked pretty good under Sr. against Paulie M, who is by no means a tomato can

Pac's ko and first round knockdowns (he knocked Hatton down in the first round just as many as Floyd was able to do in 10) and the one punch ko (not tko) just take this off the table from even being close to me
