So after their draw in 2004, it takes four years for the rematch to happen, then after their controversial SD in 2008, Pacquiao goes on to capitolize off his victory and goes-on to bigger and better fights and it eventually takes another 3 years for Pac vs JMM 3 to happen. And NOW, when the biggest fight in history can happen...Team Pac believes that JMM deserves another fight NOW? Why not after their draw in '04? Why not immediately after the SD in '08? Oh...but now JMM DESERVES a 4th fight immediately? If Team Pac would have just came out and said: "After the financial success of Pacquiao vs JMM III, we want to try to top that in sales and merchandise by having a 4th fight in a place that can hold a larger crowd in either Mexico or Texas Stadium". I would have truly understand that from a business standpoint...But don't feed Real Boxing fans this bull**** about JMM deserving a 4th fight...when in fact what JMM deserved was a Victory last Saturday night.

It's easy to see what happened in their recent fight and it will continue to happen. There is overwhelming interest from the public which includes non-boxing fans in seeing Pacquiao vs Mayweather. And no-one wants to see that fight ruined by JMM or anyone else. If they fight again the same thing will happen as I predicted about their 3rd fight this past Saturday in several post and threads in this and every other Boxing forum: JMM will win the fight, Pacquiao will get the Decision.

As I have said time & time again...Arum is going to ride Pacquiao for as long as he can. So expect Pacquiao to continue back to fighting aging, limited, easy-2-hit fighters in his next 2-3 fights. If Cassamayor pulled off the upset over Bradley, I guarantee you that Pac vs Cassamayor would have been made.

We want Floyd! JMM already proved what he needed to and he doesn't need to waste what's left of an able body and career.

    Nah, I want MP-JMM again.

Guaranteed competitive action between two of the best fighters of their generation? Sign me up. This will actually be a super fight unlike their last outing because people believe and know JMM can win. Let's be honest, not many people gave the Mexican much of a chance headed into their supposed rubber match. The circumstances will be different headed into this one. Pacquiao has just as much to prove against JMM as he would fighting Mayweather. The incentive to win couldn't be higher.

If Arum wanted to milk pacquiao why would he match him up again with a guy who just made him look bad and many feel beat him. How does that many sense.

Mayweather's obviously the fight most people want to see, but the majority of boxing fans thought Marquez beat Pacquiao and the fight itself wasn't half-bad either. It's a good, competitive fight and I'd certainly pay to watch it. Marquez DOES deserve another huge payday and another shot to get the 147-pound title and the win over Pacquiao that he should have (at least one of) on his resume. I just don't share the outrage with a possible 4th fight.

Because you and every other Fake-ass Boxing fan without a damn clue, actually believed and bought into the hype that manny Pacquiao is a much better fighter than he was 7 years ago and they thought that JMM was an easy win. And all of you (including Team pac) just found out that Pacquiao is exactly what Real Boxing Fans always knew he was....the exact same fighter he has always been: Fundalmentally flawed, no defense, can't box, terrible balance, can't adjust and NO RING IQ. And it's sad that it took a 38 yr old bloated lightweight for you and everyone else to see what Real Boxing Fans have known all along.

Look, I don't have a problem with a 4th also....but lets see Pac vs FMJ First. I mean this is what everyone has been bitching about for almost 3 years right?

Yeah, no issues with that. I'd rather see the Mayweather fight in May and win, lose, or draw for Pacquiao (likely the middle of those three), a 4th Marquez battle.

If I didn't know Marquez' age I'd agree that he deserves a 4th fight but since I know it I still think that it is time 2 retire 4 him .
There is a balance between his proved ability 2 upset and d fact that his age will show some time in d future if he doesn't retire .
Marquez proved more than he needed 2 prove against Pacquiao in this 3rd fight .

I have 2 words for you:

    B

    Hop.

    -----------------------

But while I'd love to see JMM get one more huge payday, the idea of a 4th Pac fight is just insulting.

If Pac wants a chance to prove he's not just a punk, then he should first give the belt to JMM. THEN let JMM decide if he wants to bother fighting Pac again.

Marquez does deserve a 4th fight. He would make a big payday and I'd be glad for the man. And since Pacquiao will not fight Mayweather next I guess he is out of options for a big fight. Khan would be the most lucrative option for him and even though he started to talk **** it will not happen anytime soon.

I don't know why anyone would be against a 4th fight at this point unless there's a hidden agenda behind the opinion, honestly. Especially if Manny agrees to take the fight in Texas or Mexico- the build up and event will be 10x what Pac-Marquez III was.

As tempting as it is to see Manny smash Bradley, there's still unfinished business left between JMM and Pac, and JMM deserves that kind of monster payday.
