PBF has career defining fight with corrales...his fight with dela hoya is not his career defining as he shared the limelight with oscar.

i mentioned JMM's name here because every time he hear or read the phrase " no career defining win" jmm comes to mind. That is the reason why i still rank morales and barrera higher than marquez

then again, it has been documented that corrales was almost 40 pounds above 130, 6 weeks before the fight. maybe some people would say that hatton is his career defining fight and they can make a case for that

Genaro Hernandez - 1st shot at world title
Diego Corrales - Slight underdog produces masterclass in battle of undefeated fighters
Arturo Gatti - 1st ever ppv fight & one of the greatest boxing displays in the history of boxing, regardless of opponent
Oscar Delahoya - 5 weight champion vs the bigger legendary fighter
Ricky Hatton - amazing versatility vs opponent that some felt had `the style` to deal with FMJ

Roach`s head is up his/pacs ass

A split desicion in a fight where suddenly DLH decided to stop using the Jab that was working so well......... Hatton????? The guy got school by Collazo and got a gift in the desicion. Hatton is a B class fighter at his best.

    What about Gatti?

Add Corrales and you have 2.

I think Hatton was too..............A lot of viewers hadn't even heard of a check hook until that fight.

Roach is going to eat his ridiculous words when Mayweather busts up Pacquiao.

Disagree with Roach. Has he not seen the Corrales fight?

The Oscar De La Hoya fight could be considered his career defining fight, or even the fights with prime fighters like the 2nd Castillo and Corrales fights.

oscar didnt cram in making the weight...the weight issue of corrales is well documented

still, corrales fight is PBF's most defining win

Corrales and Castillo (although they aren't the greatest opponents in an ATG sense). His earlier work is easy to forget because he has fought on for years after it, with good wins over Hatton, DLH, and a decent version of Judah, but mixed in with 5 or 6 terrible opponents.
