Even though he's quite smaller than the rest of top welters? And the top 2 want to fight a much smaller fighter in Pacqiauo.

Prime Corrales would blow thru the 130 lb division today and give anyone at 135 the fight of their lives. I wouldn't make Pac or JMM a lock against him by any means. He was a ****ing monster, and people have short memories. PBF at that weight is definitely ATG class talent. He might have faced a distracted Corrales, but to do what he did against ANY version of Corrales was a ****ing HUGE achievement.

He also had a date with prison coming up very shortly after that fight, and knew it. That HAS to weigh on your mind.

No, I don't think he has a career-defining fight. I also think that having one isn't completely necessary. His resume is chock-full of achievements and depth.

I think we should be a little more understanding with the ******* around here......afterall, its got to be a thorn in there side to know that their idol Manny Pacquiao was twice schooled by JMM.......

......they cant help but to take shots at the one fighter thats brought down their party!:hey

How dare JMM crash their party......of course they're going to take shots at him.:D

corrales may be weight drained but the odds are pretty even in that fight and corrales was #3 p4p fight and PBF was only 8th

JMM's career defining fight was his close fights with pacquiao compared to the other defining fights of other ATG's in his era

PBF's career defining fight was destruction of #3 p4p in corrales
Pac's career defining fight was destruction of #3 p4p in Barrera
MAB career defining fight was destruction of #3 p4p in Hamed
Morales dominated pacquiao in their first fight
Jones demolished top 3 p4p in toney early in his career
Bhop upsets p4p #1 in Trinidad in a devastating fashion
Lewis outclassed Tyson in the most significant HW fight in years
Sweet Pea schooled p4p #1 chavez
Mosley overcoming 4-1 odds and Knocking out p4p #5 margarito

I've talked a lot of **** about Floyd the last 6 months, I was a huge Mayweather fan and then I went off him but I went to see him in London yesterday at the open workout and he is awesome. A nice guy and all the **** that gets spread on this forum, myself included is a bit over the top at times. without him who would could we admire skill wise besides Floyd. There is nobody man for real, Floyds the best in the sport period.

To answer this thread starters questions
I think Corrales could be seen as career defining because the way he picked him apart was A++++++ Nobody could have done it as good as Floyd did and that is what we need to remember here. Im gonna stop talking smack about him because after meeting him, he is actually a decent guy.
