Freddie Roach New Interview- Doubts Top Rank Would Take A Pwilliams Vs KPavlik

Once again Roach has know idea what he is talking about. It's not up to Top Rank. It's up to Pavlik, and Kelly already gave Williams everything but his wife and kids just to get the man in the ring. Part of KP's new deal with Top Rank gives him a lot more control over who he fights, and who he does not fight. That's why the Mora fight went away, and the Williams fight got made. In addition, I just read an article in the Augusta Chronicle where Goosen said he still thinks the fight will happen. Jesus ****ing Christ! It was post poned 6 weeks, not cancelled.

 

In a sense Roach was probably right. Arum probably would not have been willing to make so many concessions. Most likely The Bob Father would have said 70/30 or get the **** out. However, and make no mistake about this, Kelly Pavlik was THE DRIVING FORCE behind making that fight.

 

Well - will somebody tell Kelly that he makes all his money with his hands - so take better care of them. Would rather be watching this fight in about 2 weeks instead of another couple of months.

If they're not going to fight in October - I would rather them wait until next year - so HBO could have more money for Mosley/Berto - instead of Mosley/Clottey.
