    Two smart moves by Roach: No Margarito and no Floyd at 147. Roach, along with the rest of the world, saw what happened to Ricky Hatton when he took the fight with PBF at 147 even after RH struggled with Collazo at that same poundage.

    Floyd is a shrewd operator and he got the brash and then-unbeaten Hatton to make the weight concession and the next thing you knew Ricky's head was bouncing off of a turnbuckle en route to his being TKO'd against PBF.

    If Pacquiao and Mayweather, Jr. meet, I favor PBF to take the victory based primarily on his natural size advantage. Both fighters are highly skilled and talented boxers, and that is why I feel Floyd's inherent 15-17 lbs. advantage in mass, his greater height and his longer reach would ultimately tip the edge in his favor.

    Manny Pacquiao's popularity, marketability and standing within the sport are at all-time highs after his one-sided annhilation of boxing's biggest draw this past Saturday night. Along with Pac's new accolades comes increased leverage in the negotiations of his possible future fights. Roach's decision to start exerting this clout as regards a potential weight at which to meet Mayweather, particularly in light of what happened to Ricky Hatton in his own matchup with PBF, shows Team Pac is once again thinking clearly and is looking to give their fighter his best chance to compete against the former #1 pound-for-pound king of boxing should the two meet inside the squared circle.

    Pac is not in the same league as Mayweather, hatton gives pac a real tough fight and could even win imo.

    Mayweather would embarrass Pacman.

    people here were calling Roach mentally unstable for saying Pac will TKO Oscar, and wanting this fight

    they even lied for Nacho as to why Roach hates him

    Roach is a smart man

    Embarrassing PAcquiao? Not sure it is possible. I think Pacquiao would beat Hatton. Not sure about Floyd but it would be a close battle.

    Mayweather wins I would say but he surely doesn't enbarrass busy and precise fighters like Pacquiao !
    Pacquiao is also awkward to fight because he's constantly in movement, bouncing around.. a bit like Calzaghe does !

    I wouldn't like to see Pac tustle with Floyd any higher than 144, and ideally it would be 142.

    Mark my words;

    1-I had predicted Manny TKO 8 Oscar.
    2-Manny destroys Hatton. I predict Hatton will duck duck duck.
    3-Mayweather is going to have a HARD fight against Manny if he ever chooses to fight him. I feel that Manny not wanting to fight Floyd at 147 is going to prevent this fight from happening.

    I agree that he is very smart man, but he is a little mentally unstable. Did you see how he was shaking after the fight when he was talking. He is pretty old and sick.

    Hatton will duck Manny? You moron. He will actively pursue this fight above any others. He has mroe chance against this P4P No 1 than he did against the last one
