Freddie Roach now predicts an early KO win by PAC over Cotto

Before the camp started,Roach was getting extremely anxious about the lack of preparation for this training camp. He had not heard a word from his fighter about matters of concern, like what country they would set up camp in etc.

He didn't think the Philippines was the best choice to set up camp,anxious that it just might offer up too many distractions for his fighter. Manny cant turn down a fan it seems,much less 20000000 of them who live right next door :roll:

Well, he starts training camp. Pacman is off to a good start. Roach is finally back in control, and the anxiety is laid to rest. Roach now believes it will be a hard fight, but is confident enough to state Pacman will get a points win rather than a knock out win.

Sparring sessions starts off pretty low key as spar partners get acquainted with Pacman and the instructions that Freddy gives them.

A few weeks into it and Pacman is starting to fire on all cylinders. Roach is starting to see the "eye of the tiger" emerging from his fighter, and when holding the pads he can feel the power, and now he finally knows that the is dead on target with pre fight conditioning and training schedules.

What Roach is saying is simply a statement based on observations he is making at the time he says it... If he is saying Pac has sufficient power to end the fight early then it tells me that Roach is letting us know where his guy is at right now. :rasta



Does Cotto have the greater power? and can he land it on the speedy midget? Can Manny take Cotto's best shots to the head and body? Can Cotto match the speed and power of Manny? Can Manny really fly?

I laughed at Roached when he said Pac would see to Hatton in 3! Cotto needs to be cautious he doesnt know what he is in the ring with for the first round at least!

No, people wish he would shut up because everytime he opens his mouth he belittles Pac's opponent and lessens the acheivement. He did it for ODLH and Hatton and now he is doing it against Cotto. Too bad Cotto is going to put Pacman to sleep.

I'd love to see Cotto win. But based on recent fights and Pac doing the unthinkable vs. Oscar and Hatton, mind you I had a feeling Oscar was going to get beat, I think Pac will KO cotto.
