I used the word "feel" in my analogy. A "feeling" may not be logical to some but it is major concern to Pac and the soldiers in my analogy. There are some people who have an illogical phobia of travelling by plane when statistically, it is the safest way to travel. Pac mentioned in a 2005 interview that giving blood close to his fight with Morales affected his performance so he has a genuine concern about giving blood too close to the fight.

Listen man. I can see where you are coming from. I think it is BS, but insane phobias, beliefs, and the like are a REAL part of the human psyche. I would have accepted ANYTHING Manny said if...

    HE WAS CONSISTENT!

He has been consisetent, agreed to 20 days. Has there been a time after the Morales fight he has taken a test in a shorter time period?

I agree with your point about consistency. Team Pacquiao has been inconsistent with their statements because everybody close to him are giving their opinions. Arum, Koncz, and even Freddie Roach made statements that added to confusion. Pac however has been consistent about him being opposed to giving blood too close to the fight (see his 2005 interview). He made a concession though by lowering his demand from 30 to 24 days prior to the fight.

Props to Pacq if he fights Clottey, then the winner of SSM vs Berto. Those are the best at Welter at this moment and Pacq looks set to fight them all. If he wins those fights, all memories of the once proposed maywheather match up will be forgotten.

He whined but NOTHING came of said whining. He STILL submitted to the tests and went on to SMOKE everyone. Man up Manny!

This isn't like the Olympics where you have hordes of athletes to test. If Manny was to say, "I will do random testing, but our number of tests must be exactly equal." I would be fine with that.

Team Pac is Pac. If they are talking out of their arse and off message it is on Pac to shut the nonsense down. If it was Pac's best friend saying this stuff? I would give it a complete pass. It isn't though. It is his advisors.

Manny dropped the date down to 24 due to being caught on 24/7 happily giving blood. It had NOTHING to do with him working to make the fight happen.

You guys keep trying to view this through rose colored lenses. It ain't happening. (Man you have to teach me some of that UK trash talk!)

i am with you on this.

if you want to know what Pac's real take on testing...listen to his actual interviews, with the words coming out of his own mouth. of course you need to translate it if you are not fluent to his language, i am and have listened to the his interviews in the Philippines in the last few weeks. and i haven't heard any of these ridiculous excuses that many are posting here on ESB.

for the most part, he is open to any testing but concerned about how it will affect him as the fight gets closer. that is the reason for the cut-off date. that is why his camp has the concessions they want to be met.

for the rest of the fans here in ESB...if you want to be fair, then at least hear the man out...not from his handlers, but from his own mouth.

Oops. Not a big track and field fan.

Anyway, he still tested and competed... Just like his competition.

Of course. those are the rules, set by Olympic commitees and not the athletes. He had no choice.

True i dont want to see JMM fight Pac at this stage.

As it stands we already know he would always get the better of Pac when both close to prime.

Pac beating JMM when he is 37 and past his best wont change that.

If he wants to fight FMJ then he again has no choice. Test and fight. Don't test and don't fight. He chooses not to test.

You also fail to notice that Powell complained after undergoing possible over testing. Manny has no idea what is in store. He is choking out before any testing is done.

Hell I would side with him if it got excessive. This BS? Nope. He is cheating.
