he actually writes about this in his book. He felt many Mexican boxing fans were ignorant and tried to force fighters into doing that blood and guts business. Oscar as an actual boxer wanted to master the science as much as he could.

Cutting off the ring with a left hander fighter must be something challenging, especially with a boxer like Manny who loves to use is speed and combinations (when he found his opponent).

Very good interview. I agree with everything Freddy said.

You must have not watched the Whitaker fight, which was Chavez first true loss.

So yeah, 2 defeats in 90+ fights, 16 years into his career....Would have like to seen how Oscar would have done against a younger, stronger faster opponent in that same situation...Oh wait, 40+ fights, Not even 16 years into his career due to his inactivity in between years...he gets completly trashed by a Filipino Midget jumping up two weight classes.

STFU Freddie, you attention-seeking ******. You don't do nearly as much as you get credited for.

I saw an England telecast that had all 3 boxing analyses all thought Ocar clearly won the fight, so did many experts. But hey, Oscar only landed 100 more punches and Mosley was shocked to fuk when he heard his name called as the winner. Fuk man, save the hate for a current fighter.

Oscar had 200+ amateur fights! Try 28 years into his career.
    Guess you forgot about that.

Oscar jabs the fuk out of Mosley in round 2. Look at how frustrated Mosley looks inbetween rounds.

The look on Mosleys face when they announced his name was proof enough that he thought he had lost the fight. I thought ODLH had won too. Me and Mosely on the same page:hey

Yup. Oscar was clearly the better fighter that night. Mosley landed the very odd good punch here and there but come on. A guy is doubling you in connects, jabbing your head off, landing more power punches, and he loses?
